On December 14. 2017, the Center for Environment and Development and Tian Shan Policy Center organized round-table discussion on green economy learning priorities. The round table was held at the American University of Central Asia with participation of senior staff members of the Ministry of Economy, the Ministry of Agriculture, Food Industry and Melioration, the National Bank, the Ministry of Education and Science, and universities.
The purpose of round-table discussion was the identification of gaps and needs in green economy competencies and abilities of universities to fulfill these needs. In the course of the discussion, there was a productive dialogue between educators and policy makers.
